Fall is coming! In preparation for the coming cold, monarchs are headed south. Thus, this is a great time to see these beautiful insects and take part in citizen science efforts to track their progress.
If you see a monarch, please note:
- location
- date and time
- weather (cloudy or sunny)
- (optional) photo, if you happen to have your camera handy
Where to report?
- Online. You will need to create a login if you don’t already have one for this site.
- By email. Send your name and the sighting information above to Selvi Viswanathan (hariselvi at juno dot com), a citizen scientist who is out every day looking for monarchs and other wildlife.
Enjoy the beauty of nature.
