Call for Citizen Scientists: Report Your Monarch Sightings

Fall is coming! In preparation for the coming cold, monarchs are headed south. Thus, this is a great time to see these beautiful insects and take part in citizen science efforts to track their progress.

If you see a monarch, please note:

  1. location
  2. date and time
  3. weather (cloudy or sunny)
  4. (optional) photo, if you happen to have your camera handy

Where to report?

  1. Online. You will need to create a login if you don’t already have one for this site.
  2. By email. Send your name and the sighting information above to Selvi Viswanathan (hariselvi at juno dot com), a citizen scientist who is out every day looking for monarchs and other wildlife.

Enjoy the beauty of nature.
