Learn what you can do to protect pollinators at a community level at this live-streamed program from Kaitlin Haase, Southwest Pollinator Conservation Specialist with the Xerces Society. Kaitlin will introduce the Bee City USA and Bee Campus USA initiatives and the commitments a city or campus makes to become certified. Participants will learn more about the needs of native bees, how the management of cities and campuses can meet those needs while benefitting our communities, and what it takes to become an affiliate of Bee City USA and Bee Campus USA.

About Kaitlin Haase:

As the Southwest Pollinator Conservation Specialist, Kaitlin works to create climate-resilient, connected pollinator habitat in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. She collaborates with and educates public and private urban land managers in New Mexico and the desert Southwest on pollinator-friendly practices for landscaping, gardening, and open space restoration.
