Join PEEC and the Los Alamos Mountaineers for the February Mountaineers meeting and presentation. There will be a mountaineers meeting at the beginning of the event (about 15 minutes), then we'll hear from Mary Thompson about her mother/daughter paddling trip on the Green River. You can view the presentation in person at the Los Alamos Nature Center or from home via Zoom (slides and audio only). Please register in advance.

About the presentation:

The 125-mile section of the Green River between Green River State Park and the confluence with the Colorado River is an accessible and fun paddling (and hiking) trip for beginners as well as seasoned outdoors people.  I will tell you about our latest trip and how we did it so that you can plan your own venture on the Green.
My daughter and I are long-time kayakers, hikers, and trip partners.

Admission: Free (please select an in-person or virtual ticket).
