During this camp, young explorers will dive into the vibrant tapestry of the region's cultural history! Join us for a whirlwind of fun as kids unleash their creativity through art, embark on daily trips to make exciting discoveries, and get hands-on with unforgettable experiences. From mastering heritage arts to decoding the mysteries of geology, observing ancient petroglyphs, and unraveling the importance of water in the Valley – this camp promises a week filled with excitement.
This camp is guided by seasoned educators with First Aid certification, ensuring a safe environment for every camper. Our experienced team designs camps that holistically address each participant's physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering a transformative and enriching summer experience.
Arts and Science Camp meets daily, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Campers must be dropped off at the Espanola Mision Museum and Convento between 7:45 and 8:00 AM and picked up between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM each day. Participants must be entering grades 4, 5, or 6 in fall 2024.
