Mayan Archaeoastronomy: Observers of the Universe is a vibrant journey through six Mayan temples: San Gervasio, Chichen Itzá, Uxmal, Edzná, Palenque, and Bonampak. This fulldome animated film, the first of its kind made in Mexico, immerses viewers in the Mayan civilization's profound understanding of celestial movements, emphasizing the significance of temple orientations in relation to the Sun, Moon, and Venus. Narrated in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese, the film is a collaborative effort, funded by Mexico's National Council of Science and Technology and produced by Frutos Digitales with support from the European Southern Observatory (ESO).

Admission for the program is $8 for adults and $6 for children. Events in the planetarium are not recommended for children under age 4.
