This page describes locations of feeders outside the wildlife area. Namely, it covers the feeder in the front of the nature center building.
We have a single mixed seed feeder that is located in the front of the building. It is a cylindrical tube feeder and is hung from one of the ponderosa pine trees next to the parking area.
To fill the feeder — most of the year, the birds do not drain this feeder very rapidly. I only add more seed when the feeder is less than half full.
To fill it, take the feeder down from the hooks, and fill with mixed seed. This feeder is too high for critters to reach it, so it can be left out overnight.
