PEEC is accepting board member applications for terms starting in October 2024. Board members come from a variety of backgrounds such as law, human resources, science, fundraising, finance, technology, and more. Board terms are two years and can be renewed up to three times. PEEC board members are active in the organization, approving a yearly budget, reviewing strategic plans, and adopting policies.
Board meetings are held on the second Monday of the month, at 6:15 pm, in hybrid format. Board service might include volunteering on committees, attending monthly board meetings, and helping at events like Earth Day, Bear Fest, or PEECnic. In return, you get to work with a variety of people who love nature and help shape the future of PEEC.
