PEEC-A-BOO

Brace yourselves for a spooky adventure at PEEC-A-BOO on Friday, October 25, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Los Alamos Nature Center! As part of the Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet festivities, we invite families and friends to enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, learning, and, of course, candy!

Highlights include spooky creature encounters at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, where you can meet some of the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC)’s resident animals and learn about the fascinating creatures that inhabit our local environment. Engage in a variety of Halloween-themed activities designed for all ages, and don’t forget to grab a treat. Admission is free!

After PEEC-A-BOO, stick around for our special Halloween Astronomy event in the planetarium on Friday from 6 PM to 7 PM, or Saturday from 2 PM to 3 PM, to explore the night sky with a Halloween twist. Through a captivating mix of music, images, and narration, you’ll explore Halloween from a fresh perspective that combines folklore and the cosmos. Admission for Halloween Astronomy is $8 for adults, $6 for children, or $20 for a family.
