Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Bee City Los Alamos on Tuesday, September 10th from 4-6 PM for the dedication of the new Bee City Los Alamos Pollinator Demonstration Garden on Bathtub Row. The garden is designed to support the health of bees, butterflies, and other vital pollinators utilizing native plants that are of special benefit to pollinators, and that are suitable for home and municipal landscapes. This special event will feature remarks from community leaders, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, garden tours, and fun activities for all ages.
This event is open to the public. Families, nature lovers, and community members are encouraged to attend. Come learn more about how you can support pollinators and enjoy the beauty of our new garden. The garden is located on Bathtub Row behind the Extension Office and next to the Senior Center. Due to construction, attendees are encouraged to park in the Central Park Square parking lot and walk over.
