Experience a magical moonrise hike on the Kwage Mesa trail with PEEC staff and local astronomers. We’ll meet at the Kwage Mesa Trailhead by 6:30 PM for an easy trek to watch the moonrise and explore unique features of the October night sky. The hike will be no more than 2 miles round trip, concluding by 9 PM. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a headlamp or flashlight (red lights preferred for better star viewing). Registration is limited to 25 people, so reserve your spot today—admission is FREE!
Hocus Pocus Popcorn Party – October 19, 4 PM to 6:30 PM
Join us for a nostalgic evening featuring a candy and popcorn bar, along with a screening of the beloved 90’s Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. The popcorn bar opens at 4 PM, and the movie will begin at 4:30 PM. Wear your witchy wardrobe or a 90’s inspired outfit to join in the fun!
