Youth Learn to Snowshoe

We loaned our snowshoes to McCurdy Charter School in Santa Cruz so they could take their 7th graders snowshoeing in the Santa Fe National Forest. This was the first time many of these students wore snowshoes, and they quickly figured out how to get around in the snow. During the trip, they learned about trees, snow crystals, and animal tracks. We are thrilled our snowshoes helped these students connect with nature. Here are photos and captions from the trip.
